Single-wound and double-wound steel seals
Fey laminar rings are especially effective for grease sealing and for holding back liquids, dirt and dust. In addition to the excellent sealing properties for rotating parts, Fey laminar rings with their low friction and small contact surface can provide a significant reduction in temperature and wear.
FK3 single-wound laminar sealing rings
FK3 are single-wound laminar sealing rings and are available in internal tensioning, external tensioning and combined design. FK3 is used for, among other things, grease seals for roller bearings and bearing bushes. When greased, they protect against dust and moisture.

FK5 single and double wound laminar sealing rings
FK5 are single- or double-wound laminar sealing rings and available in both internal and external tensioning versions. FK5 is widely used for sealing segment bearings, rollers of continuous casting plants, industrial steam turbines, mobile and stationary aggregates.

FK6 double-wound laminar sealing rings
FK6 are double-wound laminar sealing rings and available in internal, external and combined versions. FK6 is mainly used when the sealing requirements are higher. When greased, they protect against dust and moisture.

FK7 single- and double-wound retaining rings
FK7 are single or double wound steel retaining rings. They are available in both internal and external tensioning versions. FK7 retaining rings are used for axial locking and applied in transmission systems, agricultural vehicles and the locking of parts in the automotive industry.

FK8 plastic laminar ring holders
FK8 are plastic laminar ring holders made of Polyamide 6 (PA6). They are provided with a double-wound lamella ring and also available with a mineral fiber reinforcement. The FK8 plastic laminar ring holders are often used as a seal against grease leakage at roller bearings and for sealing against dirt and splash water.

THN has more than 30 years of experience with Fey laminar rings and since 2006 we have obtained the official agency of Fey Lamellenringe GmbH. Since 1946, Fey has been using the single-wound multi-disc ring used in internal combustion engine pistons to repair the seal on oval and worn cylinders.
